NICK BRODEUR

Nicholas John Brodeur, p/k/a “Nick Brodeur” was born in 2000 and grew up in Long Island, New York. From birth, musical passion has been running through his blood. His great aunt Jackie Lee broke through in the UK, reaching the Top Ten in 1968 with “White Horses.” She also sang on Jimi Hendrix’s classic debut single, “Hey Joe.” So, music has been and is in Nick’s DNA.

As early as six years old, Nick expressed an interest in the electric guitar after seeing the group Metallica in concert for the first time. Within a week after that concert, Nick began professional vocal and guitar lessons, falling in love with his new Gibson Les Paul Classic. Today, Nick is an acknowledged musician, singer and songwriter.

After six years of rigorous one-on-one lessons, Nick relocated to Florida and joined the School of Rock in West Broward, FL. There, he met fellow young rockers and started his career as a live performer. Nick and his family later moved from Florida to California, where he now plays at the School of Rock in Tustin and attends the Orange County School of the Arts (OSCA).

Nick performs live at several venues on both coasts. At the age of sixteen, he is gearing up to tour extensively this summer while on summer break and while recording his debut album. Nick’s biggest influences in rock are the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, Metallica, and Megadeath. In the genres of Jazz, R&B, Funk and Soul his influences are B. B. King, George Benson, and Prince. Like all of his favorite guitarists, Nick’s tireless devotion to rock, pop and soul music, plus his boundless enthusiasm on stage, are both captivating and hypnotic.

Nick’s fusion of rock, pop and soul has turned electric into eclectic!
